Vanity ordering questions

A good vanity choice starts with the complete configuration: cabinet, top, basin and the space around them.

What vanity size should I buy?

Measure the available width and depth, then allow for the door swing, shower entry and comfortable movement around the vanity. Check the product drawing rather than relying on the size in the title: a top can differ from the nominal cabinet width. Mark the proposed footprint on the floor before you order.

Does a vanity include the top and basin?

Not always. Cabinet-only, cabinet-and-top and complete vanity packages can have different inclusions. Read the exact product and selected option, then check whether the basin, waste, tapware, handles and mounting components are included or sold separately. Keep a written list of the configuration you want so nothing is assumed.

What should I confirm when ordering an ADP vanity?

Confirm the range, width, depth, mounting style, cabinet finish, top material, basin arrangement and tap-hole selection for the specific ADP model. Available choices vary by product. Use the specification sheet and the order options together, and have your installer check plumbing clearances before a made-to-order configuration is finalised.

Can I use an above-counter basin on any vanity?

Do not assume every top or cabinet is suitable. Check the top material, basin footprint and weight, cut-out requirements, tapware reach and the finished basin height. Drawer space and the waste position also matter. Your cabinet supplier and installer should confirm the proposed combination before holes are cut.

Is a wall-hung vanity right for my bathroom?

A wall-hung vanity can leave visible floor space underneath, while a floor-standing vanity creates a different storage and installation layout. Compare usable storage and plumbing access, not just the look. Your installer needs to confirm wall support, fixing requirements and service positions for the selected model.

What information should I send for a vanity quote?

Send the exact product or range, width, finish, top and basin choices, tap-hole preference, quantity and delivery postcode. Include any fixed plumbing positions and the date you need it. Ask for the quoted inclusions and lead time to be confirmed together so the price matches the configuration you intend to buy.
