ADP Vanity Buying Guide: Size, Tops and Basin Options

Work through the measurements, storage and basin choices that determine the right ADP vanity configuration for your bathroom.

Thea 1500mm - Florentine Walnut with Michelangelo Benchtop

The right ADP vanity starts with the space you have and the way you use it. A model that looks ideal in a photograph can still have the wrong depth, bowl position or top configuration for your plumbing. Use this guide to narrow the options before selecting a finish.

1. Measure the finished space, not just the wall

Record the maximum width and depth available after wall finishes, then allow for door movement, drawers and the route past the vanity. Check where the water and waste connections enter the cabinet. Photograph those connections if you are replacing an existing unit.

Use the selected model’s technical drawing to compare the cabinet and finished top. A size in a product name is a starting point, not a substitute for exact dimensions. ADP’s own Waverley specifications, for example, list finished widths that differ slightly from the nominal model size.

Width, depth and bowl position

  • Width: check the cabinet, top and any overhang against the opening.
  • Depth: confirm both storage depth and the space left to move around the room.
  • Bowl position: choose centre, offset or double bowls only where offered by the selected model, with suitable plumbing and bench space.
  • Height: consider the cabinet, top and basin together. An above-counter bowl adds to the finished washing height.

2. Compare the layout of the models

Start in the ADP vanity collection. The ADP Thea uses curved feature ends and a wall-hung drawer layout. The ADP Eli offers an all-drawer design with an integrated handle profile. The ADP Drift has an integrated solid surface top with an offset bowl. These are different configurations, so compare the actual storage and top arrangement.

For a tighter space, inspect the ADP Tiny 400mm vanity. Check its finished basin-top dimensions, door hinge option and tap-hole position rather than assuming that a compact cabinet will fit every small bathroom.

3. Know which top and basin you are buying

Moulded top with integrated basin

The bowl forms part of the top. Check the offered material, tap holes, overflow and bowl position. Do not add a separate above-counter basin unless the selected configuration specifically requires one.

Benchtop with a separately selected basin

Choose the compatible top and basin together, then check cut-outs, tap position and waste requirements. Explore ADP basins and match the chosen basin’s installation style to the top. An above-counter, semi-inset and undermount basin each needs its own installation arrangement.

4. Compare the complete configuration price

Make a short list of everything included in the selected option: cabinet, top, basin, handles, waste and any accessories. Top upgrades and basin choices can change the total. The lowest displayed starting price may describe a different configuration from the one pictured.

Coordinate ADP tapware once the bowl height and position are settled. A wall mixer needs the plumbing position planned before the wall is finished; a deck-mounted mixer needs the correct tap-hole arrangement.

Your final ordering checklist

  • Selected model and exact finished dimensions.
  • Cabinet finish, mounting style and storage layout.
  • Top material, basin and bowl position.
  • Tap holes, overflow and compatible waste.
  • All inclusions, optional extras and the final price.
  • Current production estimate and delivery access.

Before ordering a made-to-order configuration, ask your installer to check the drawing against the room. Contact Bathroom Sales Direct if you need help checking your selection, or browse all ADP bathroom products.
